    An exclusive distribution arrangement gives one distributor the sole right to sell or distribute a product within a specific territory or market. The supplier cannot appoint other distributors there. For instance, if a company A is an exclusive distributor in the state of New York, it means that a supplier cannot engage any other distributor for the same state.

    A non-exclusive distribution allows multiple distributors to sell or distribute the same product in the same territory. The supplier may also sell the product directly.
